FOREST SCHOOL

Kuala Lumpur Steiner Education is unique in its own way, derived from the belief of mankind’s connection with the environment. Nestled between the hillside of Bukit Penchala, our school emphasizes on children’s wellbeing in association with the natural environment.

The ecology of our environment is taught by example; buildings built with natural materials, perched at the tree tops overlooking the natural forest our school is located in.

Children will play and grow beneath the forest trees in the natural breeze, foresting the love for nature more and more daily; the nature as the root of your children’s growth.

GOVERNANCE

As a community we work in line with the founding vision of our School, its pedagogy, methodology and goal, with freedom of spirit and inclusiveness as the collective driving force.

Our functional structure is three-fold, made up of the Management, the Teaching Faculty and the Parent Community—each equal, accountable and autonomous in its own right but closely bound and interconnected, working together for the benefit of the children who lie at the heart of it all. The three bodies intersect and work closely together, overseen when required by the Board of Governors.
