What is Steiner Education?
Steiner Education provides a rich experience that aims to prepare children to meet the challenges of our world and the future with clarity of thought, a caring heart and confidence.
We aim to achieve this through creative experiential approach that addresses the whole child in:
Feeling
art and music that develops strength and resilience to hold the polarities that our complex modern world will demand of us
Thinking
lively, curious and dynamic thinking that will help our learners ask questions that the world is waiting to be asked
The Structure of Steiner Education follows Rudolph Steiner’s theory of child development, which divides childhood into three development stages; lasting approximately seven years each. The stated purpose of this approach is to awaken the “physical, behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual” aspects of each individual, fostering creatives as well as analytic thinking.
The goal of Steiner education is to enable students as fully as possible to choose and, in freedom, to realize their individual path through life as adults.
Our Environment
Kuala Lumpur Steiner Education is unique in its own way, derived from the belief of mankind’s connection with the environment. Nestled between the hillside of Bukit Penchala, our school emphasizes on children’s wellbeing in association with the natural environment.
The ecology of our environment is taught by example; buildings built with natural materials, perched at the tree tops overlooking the natural forest our school is located in.
Children will play and grow beneath the forest trees in the natural breeze, foresting the love for nature more and more daily; the nature as the root of your children’s growth.

- the development of the whole child;
- utilizing age appropriate learning activities that matches the stages of child development;
- including multiple intelligences in every aspect of learning; and
- creative experiential approaches that addresses the whole child in willing, feeling and thinking.
